Eric has spent the last four years working with Eastwind. He came onboard in June 2021 to work on the construction of Eastwind Lake Placid and Eastwind Oliverea Valley. After each property was completed he assisted in opening Eastwind Lake Placid in July 2022 and Eastwind Oliverea Valley in January 2023 including the restaurant Dandelion. During his time at Eastwind Eric stepped in and managed the properties/restaurant when needed, developed opening beverage programs, took existing beverage/food programs to new levels, executed weddings, retreats and corporate events, implemented new and improved existing systems and operating procedures, improved service/guest experience and earned One Michelin Key for Eastwind Hotel & Bar in 2024.
Before Eastwind Eric was the Director of Operations for Sea Wolf Bushwick and Sea Wolf Waterfront as well as Snow Wolf. A career hospitality professional with over 25 years experience with over a decade spent in NYC. He has a focus on creating and operating friendly and welcoming bars, restaurants and hotels for guests and staff alike.
Eric has a BS Industrial Design from Philadelphia University, he has studied wine at American Sommelier in New York City and worked during harvest in Priorat, Spain. He has worked at DuMont in Brooklyn, at Geoffrey Zakarian’s The National in Midtown and for Denihan Hospitality Group.
